Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex individual and business tax returns and projections for local and nationwide business owners and high net worth clients.
- Collaborate with tax, business advisory team, and financial advisors to create integrated planning opportunities for small to medium size business owners and high net worth clients.
- Research, analyze, and resolve a wide range of tax issues.
- Communicate with clients to request data, respond to questions, and participate in client meetings as a support role for the lead advisor.
- Assist with the creation of presentations discussing tax planning opportunities for clients.
- Analyze various business structures and their tax implications to help provide comprehensive tax services.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with concentration in accounting or related field - required
- 3+ tax seasons in public accounting - required
- Experience using Thomson Reuters CS Professional Suite (UltraTax) - preferred
- Master at Microsoft Excel, providing clear outputs for analysis and comprehension - preferred
- Be a strong team player, providing superior service for all that we do, taking complete ownership of even the smallest task.
- Keen, consistent attention to detail.
- Proven ability to independently analytically solve issues both proactively and reactively.
- Effective at managing various projects and taking them to completion by firm deadlines.
- Adaptable to evolving processes.

- Familiarity with basic accounting principles, financial statements, and bookkeeping methods.
- The ability to clearly explain complex tax concepts to clients and communicate effectively with tax authorities.
- The capacity to analyze financial situations, identify potential issues, and develop solutions.
